The Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) is a registered Section 21 Company (Association not for gain) in terms of the Companies Act, 1973 (Act no. 66 of 1973). A commitment to quality training, growth and the setting and maintaining of the highest standards has enabled MRTT to become a specialised training institution that equips individuals with skills across a wide range of fields.
As a public entity reporting through the Board of Directors to the MEC of Education in the Mpumalanga Province, MRTT is mandated to develop the human resource base of the Mpumalanga Province through the provision of experiential, practical, technical, hospitality, tourism, entrepreneurship and life skills training. The main focus is to empower learners, primarily the disadvantaged communities, industry workers and government employees, to participate in the broader economic sphere of the province.
